Ingredients

½ teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon dried thyme, oregano, or other herbs

⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 (7-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil


Instructions

  1. Pound the thick end of the chicken breasts slightly to flatten.
  2. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of olive oil on the chicken and make sure it’s fully coated.
  3. Stir together the paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the chicken breasts and rub it in with your hands.
  5. Add the chicken to your air fryer with the smooth side down first.
  6. Set the temperature to 375°F and cook for about 10 minutes. Cook the chicken on the first side for 7 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes or more on the second side.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a plate or cutting board and let it rest.
  8. Ensure it’s fully cooked by inserting an instant-read thermometer and aim for 160°F.
