Description
Turkish Chicken Shish Kebab is a dish that is very known in the middle east. It’s a very healthy dish to have on your table for every gathering.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 to 5 boneless, skinless thighs)
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (or milk)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Garnish: oregano, sumac, and paprika.
Instructions
- In case you were on a hurry, you can marinate the chicken for 30 min, it will be enough for the chicken to absorb enough spices and flavors.
- Before you start grilling, you can oil the grate to make sure the chicken doesn’t stick.
- If you are using wood skewers, it would be better if you soak them in the water for 30 minutes before you use them on the grill.
- When turning the kebabs wait tell each side gets the golden color.
