Keto Taco Salad with Chicken and Cheese Crisps


Today, I’m going to be making my keto taco salad using chicken, and I’ve got a secret ingredient, because doesn’t a taco salad need to have a crunchy element?

How To Make Keto Taco Salad

We’ll start with the chicken. We need four boneless skinless chicken thighs. And a spice mixture that we’re going to put on the chicken. It’s cumin, smoked paprika, salt, chili powder, and garlic powder.

Mix the spices, and place them evenly over the chicken on both sides. And put it in the air fryer basket.

Now we can do the rest of the seasoning. And we’re going to cook it in the air fryer for about 15 to 20 minutes. We might flip them halfway through.


We will cook the chicken in the air fryer for 20 minutes. After that remove it from the air fryer, We’ll cut them into strips.

You can also pan fry these with a little avocado oil in a cast-iron skillet or any skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken thighs for 4 minutes on each side or until an internal temperature indicates thermometer 165F.

Assemble the salad:

We have chicken. Some cilantro, some black olives, some cheese, some salsa, and the secret ingredient, our secret crunchy ingredient, are the cheese crisps, cheddar cheese crisps.

Get a bag like Doritos and hit them in the bag.

Now we can assemble our salad. So if you want, you can make it all pretty, and you can add some cilantro, some cheese, whatever.

You can spray all on top. So put the chicken. Some cheese. A big bunch of extra chicken. That will be very good.

Perfect dinner. This chicken is so good. You could use it and make all kinds of stuff with it, quesadillas, fajitas.

Now you can add some cilantro. You can leave it out if you don’t like it.

Add some olives and some salsa to give it a little bit of moisture.

Now add the secret ingredient, the cheese crisps, for some crunch.

Serve that up into some bowls, and you will have an amazing dinner for your family.
