Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 to 5 boneless, skinless thighs)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (or milk)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish: oregano, sumac, and paprika.

Instructions

  1. In case you were on a hurry, you can marinate the chicken for 30 min, it will be enough for the chicken to absorb enough spices and flavors.
  2. Before you start grilling, you can oil the grate to make sure the chicken doesn’t stick.
  3. If you are using wood skewers, it would be better if you soak them in the water for 30 minutes before you use them on the grill.
  4. When turning the kebabs wait tell each side gets the golden color.
