What is the difference between the regular cucumbers and the English cucumbers?

As you going to buy the cucumbers in your nearest grocery store, you might find yourself in front of a confusing choice, the regular cucumber, and the English cucumber.

Well and to make it simple, the regular cucumber is cheaper when it comes to the price than the English ones, it has much thicker, waxy skin than the English cucumbers.

English Cucumbers

On the other hand, the English cucumbers are a bit more expensive than the regular ones, it has thinner skin, and it’s usually long and crunchier than the regular cucumbers.

Now that you know the difference between the two confusing cucumbers, the next question that might cross your mind is if you should pull the skin of the cucumbers or keep it?

As an answer to this question, all I can say is that it depends on your taste and how you like to eat the cucumbers.

Some of us love to eat it with the pill, so it has a crunchier taste and more benefit for the health because the skin contains a very significant amount of Fiber, which decreases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and makes you feel full much longer.

On the other side comes the people against eating the cucumbers with the skin, not for some specific reason but the fact that they don’t like the skin.

So it all depends on how you love to eat your cucumbers, my friend, believe me, there is nothing wrong with eating the cucumber skin do it and see.

Regular Cucumbers
